Will I be paid even if the property is empty?+
Yes. Multikey Living is your tenant and we are legally obligated to pay rent regardless of occupancy. Void periods are our risk to manage, not yours.
How much below market rate is the guaranteed rent?+
Typically 5 to 10 percent below market. With zero agent fees saving you 10 to 15 percent and no void losses, most landlords net more with us than through a traditional agent.
How quickly can I start receiving rent?+
From first consultation to signed contract typically takes 7 to 14 days. We move quickly because vacant properties cost landlords money.
Do I need my mortgage lender's permission?+
If your property has a mortgage, you may need consent from your lender. Most buy-to-let lenders accommodate company lets. We can provide supporting documentation for that conversation.
What property types do you accept?+
Houses, flats and HMOs across South East London. The property should be in habitable condition with valid gas and electrical safety certificates in place.
What happens at the end of the contract?+
We return the property professionally cleaned and in the same condition as when we took it on. All compliance certifications are maintained throughout.
Can the contract be renewed?+
Yes. We discuss renewal terms ahead of the contract end date so you are never left without cover. Most of our landlords choose to continue.
